Today is the Day

Our SDA appointment is in a few hours. I can feel everyone's prayers here because we were able to get a good night's sleep (well compared to the plane lol) and I feel surprisingly calm.

Our appartment is SUPER SUPER nice. Its more like a tiny house instead of an appartment. We are walking distance to Independence Square and we can hear the bells chime every hour from St. Sophia. Kiev is a very nice city. A lot like the downtown mall in Charlottesville but on a larger scale. The drivers are kind of crazy though, but even crazier is the people who jump out in front of them! Again, a lot like Charlottesville!

We ate dinner last night at a Ukrainian Restaurant with our facilitator. It was very good and they had English on the menu. I had Borcht and Phillip had Varakivini(not sure how to spell it - but its filled dumplings). Both were delicious.

Keep praying for us. We have 4 hours till our appointment. Pray that God will reveal to us VERY clearly which child or children are ours!

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life; but those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny; and placed among us by God's very own hands. --Kristi Larson
