When we committed to adopting these boys, we knew we could not afford it.  We knew that God would have to provide every single step of the way.  After hosting, we didn't even have the money to write the first check to our home study agency, but God put it on someone's heart to send a check BEFORE we even decided to adopt them.

I set up a non-profit adoption fund through Adopt Together and we watched as the money came in.  We are so grateful to all of those who have donated!

Because of YOU, we raised enough to pay for our home study completely.

Our next fee is the $5900 adoption agency fee.  We have raised slightly over half of it!  That is so exciting, but we still need $2196 to pay it in full.  I am so in awe of how God has provided.  We knew in our hearts that these boys were ours, but its easy for the human mind to tremble in fear at a $40,000 mountain standing in the way.

We are still far from reaching the total amount we need, but right now we are only in immediate need of $2196 so we can pay our agency fee and get started compiling our dossier.

We are being featured with other families and waiting children on the Mulligan Stew Fundraiser that I linked to in my previous post.  There are over $5000 worth of awesome prizes available to those who donate a minimum of $5 to two of the featured families or children.  For people local to us, we also have some great prizes.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and donated to help us bring our boys home!

We serve a faithful God.

Way to GO Johnson family!

God bless your path, may you find support and strength to make it swiftly to the finish line!

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life; but those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny; and placed among us by God's very own hands. --Kristi Larson
