I have to say that this verse on here took my breath away. 48 years ago the Lord gave me this verse, as I began my adoption journey. I was a single woman and only 2 states allowed single people to adopt. I lived in one of them and became the sixth single person allowed to adopt a baby in Oregon!

The years have passed so quickly. Others joined our family. My first child, Jonathan (a gift from God) is now a beloved pastor. In fact, I listened to his Father's Day sermon just yesterday in which he shared some of his story during his message. What a blessing he is....and the best part of all, he made me a grandma!! Now that's one of life's choicest occupations!

I am book marking your blog and will follow very closely as you travel toward adding the four boys.

Blessings on all of you

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life; but those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny; and placed among us by God's very own hands. --Kristi Larson
