You Make All Things Work Together for My Good

We found out today that the State Police sent our background check forms to our adoption agency, along with the letter we wrote begging for expediting.  The problem is, they sent a letter of their own explaining that they cannot process our request for background checks to be sent to an agency outside of our state.

I sent the forms in on June 4th with our email address and our phone number and a letter explaining why we needed our requests expedited.  I'm really disappointed that they never called or emailed us, or even sent the forms back to US, but all the way to California.

Now we have to wait until our agency in California can send the stuff back to our agency in VA before they can submit a new requests on our behalf.

I'm not putting this out here to sound like a whiner.
I firmly believe in spiritual warfare, and this stuff is for real.

I believed in it before adoption, but I have never experienced anything like what goes on when we are in the midst of walking out God's calling on our life.  In our hearts we know that we are doing what God has called us to do, but our human minds grow weary.
We just want it done.

What we are doing is not making the devil happy.

I put this out here mostly so that I can go back and read it later because I
know that God will work all of this together for our good.

Today was frustrating!

Tomorrow, anything can happen.

We are believing that this issue will be resolved quickly so tomorrow we are taking the rest of our dossier for apostilles and then mailing it to our adoption agency for translation.

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life; but those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny; and placed among us by God's very own hands. --Kristi Larson
