Lego Gun

My kids are amazing.  We don't have wifi at our house. It's one thing we gave up for the larger space when we moved. This county is stuck in the dark ages!

W and D were at the library making use of the wifi to watch YouTube videos about Legos.  D recorded the video with his iPod so they could watch it at home.

W and D told me they were making a Lego gun that really shoots.
I was like "Oh that's nice..." But it'll never work.

They spent a few hours like this.

Behold the working Lego pistol.

D and W somehow manage to work together with Legos and make all kinds of things from just a picture or video.  It's like their brains run the same program and they work side by side in unison.

This is definitely the coolest thing they've made.

Next up, a working rifle.

And no, W is almost never dressed. He has sensory issues and lives in his pajama pants!

A lot of sensory kids really like clothes that have no seams but have compression built in (e.g. UnderArmor)

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life; but those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny; and placed among us by God's very own hands. --Kristi Larson
